Founded in the year April 1996 the school is today an unexampled and outstanding educational institution catering towards achieving the goals, values, needs and aspirations of the society.

Since the establishment, GDR Convent Sr. Sec. School is providing a congenial, peaceful environment for physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual development of the students.

It conducts classes from Pre-Nursery to XII ( and imparts education in subjects ranging from classical music to physical education from value education to Educomp smart class.

GDR Convent Sr. Sec. School is a co-educational institute affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. It is situated in village Bir Dhandoli on Hoshiarpur road, Phagwara.

The school curriculum is based on the syllabus laid down by the CBSE and NCERT, New Delhi. It is run by Shri Guru Dass Ram Educational Charitable Trust & Management Society Consisting of committed academicians of high standing and repute.

For sports activities and Inter house competitions the school follows the house system i.e. the students of every class are equally divided in to the following four houses :
Jasmine, Daffodil, Lotus, Marigold
