Founded
in the year April 1996 the school is today an unexampled and outstanding
educational institution catering towards achieving the goals, values,
needs and aspirations of the society.
Since
the establishment, GDR Convent Sr. Sec. School is providing a congenial,
peaceful environment for physical, mental, emotional, social and
spiritual development of the students. It conducts classes from
Pre-Nursery to XII ( Medical, Non- Medical, Arts, Commerce ) and imparts education in subjects ranging from
classical music to physical education from value education to smart class.

Our History
Late (Professor) Ravi Kanta Sharma was the founder chairperson of GDR institutions was not only a pioneer academician,philanthropist, social activist but a magical and divine soul who contributed a lot for the service of humanity to make this world a better and beautiful place to live. She was Head of Music Dept. (Vocal) in GNBL Ramgarhia College.
Our Services
Infrastructure : The school is spread across 2 acres of lush green land free from pollution surrounded by green fields on all four sides. It provides favourable atmosphere to supplement teaching-learning process. School has two big playgrounds spread over, 1 acre of land to facilitate games like handball, Kho-Kho. Basket Ball, Cricket, Volleyball etc.
